The Dayton Foundation Names New Governing Board Member
The Dayton Foundation has named David T. Miller to its Governing Board, which provides stewardship for the Foundation and its charitable activities. He will serve a five-year term.
David Miller is the vice president of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Dayton Children’s. Since joining Dayton Children’s in 1985, Miller has been responsible for all financial transactions and policies for the hospital and for The Children’s Medical Center Foundation. He also has been a member of The Dayton Foundation’s Finance Committee since 2004 and has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of finance and health care.
Currently he serves on the boards of the Ohio Children’s Hospital Association and CareSource. He previously served as a board member and chair for Kids Voting. In 2010, Miller was named CFO of the Year in the nonprofit health care division by the Dayton Business Journal.
