Greater Dayton Nonprofits Invited to Apply for Dayton Foundation Discretionary Grants
The Dayton Foundation is accepting Letters of Intent (LOI) from Greater Dayton not-for-profit organizations for its second discretionary grant application cycle for 2015. Completed LOIs are due Friday, July 10, 2015, by 4 p.m. and may be downloaded at www.daytonfoundation.org/ltrintent.html
Thanks to the generosity of individuals and families who have established charitable funds with little or no restrictions, The Dayton Foundation actively supports a wide variety of nonprofits, including social services, the arts, education, environment and health, through its discretionary grants program. Discretionary grants are awarded to help launch new projects not addressed by existing organizations or to support special efforts of already-established charities and are based upon worthy community effort and greatest community need.
All 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations located in Montgomery, Miami, Greene, Darke, Preble and Warren (north) counties are encouraged to apply. Organizations with LOIs that meet the funding guidelines established by The Dayton Foundation’s Governing Board will be notified to submit a full grant application.
Additional information is available on The Dayton Foundation’s website at www.daytonfoundation.org/how2app.html or by contacting Michelle Brown, program officer, at (937) 225-9965 or at email@example.com
