The Dayton Foundation Names James R. Pancoast to the Governing Board
The Dayton Foundation has named James R. Pancoast to its Governing Board, which provides stewardship for the Foundation and its charitable activities.
James Pancoast recently was named president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Premier Health Partners, a comprehensive healthcare system serving Southwest Ohio. Prior to this appointment, he spent several years as the organization’s president and chief operating officer (COO). A graduate of The Ohio State University and Michigan State University, his career in healthcare administration has spanned more than 30 years and includes positions as president and CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital and Samaritan Health Partners, executive vice president and COO of Good Samaritan Hospital, president of Premier HealthNet, president of Fidelity Health Care and controller of Miami Valley Hospital.
In addition to his professional experience, Pancoast also has been active in community service. He currently serves on the boards of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, the Montgomery County Human Services Levy Council and The Dayton Art Institute, as well as on the regional policy board of The American Hospital Association.^ top of page
