Local Scholarship Information

  • Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program – awards renewable scholarships annually to students in participating Montgomery County, Ohio, high schools who have received their high school diploma during the current academic year.
  • Montgomery County Ohio College Promise Program – provides college scholarship and mentoring support to students, whose lives have been impacted by poverty. Students are selected in their eighth grade year and are supported by a mentor and the Program throughout their high school years.
  • Ohio Department of Higher Education – provides a variety of scholarship and grant resources for current high school students, college students and adult learners.

National Scholarship Information

  • The College Board — offers helpful college planning information, as well as scholarship resources, tools and calculators to help pay for college.
  • The College Financing Plan — provides students, families and institutions with information about the College Financing Plan.

Information on Getting Involved Through Volunteerism and Philanthropy

Youth Service America — offers an online directory of volunteer opportunities for youth and adults. Site visitors can enter their zip code, city, state, skills, interests and availability to be matched with organizations needing help.
