Amber Smith

Amber joined The Dayton Foundation staff in 2016 as a donor services associate. In 2021, she took on a new role as the donor services team lead. In this role, she processes the Donor-Advised, Family Foundation Plus^SM and Charitable Checking Accounts^SM grants for our fund holders. She also processes all program expenses and oversees the grants team.

Prior to coming to the Foundation, Amber spent six years in banking, working as the assistant to the president at Somerville National Bank. She is an alumni of Indiana University, where she attained a BS in business administration with a concentration in managerial accounting,

Amber resides in Eaton with her husband and four children. In her spare time, she loves to stay active by running, working out and playing with her kids.
