Amy Wagner

Amy Wagner joined the staff of The Dayton Foundation in 2023 and serves as the senior vice president of Operations. Amy is responsible for initiating, coordinating and implementing all human resource and administrative systems, policies and procedures.

A lifelong Daytonian, Amy spent more than 20 years with Hospice of Dayton and Ohio’s Hospice, where she served as president and COO. With over 25 years of experience in human resource and operational leadership, she has a passion for working with people to help individuals and organizations achieve their utmost potential, especially in the fulfillment of a community mission. In her current and past roles, she has played an active part in strategic planning, policy management, public and employee relations, budget planning, board engagement, innovation, compliance oversight and special projects.

Amy holds a BS in business management from Wright State University. She currently serves on the board for Chaminade Julienne High School in Dayton and previously served on the board for Muse Machine.
