Cathy Ponitz

Cathy Ponitz has been a champion for the Dayton region for more than 30+ years, most recently as the vice president of CareSource Foundation, Community Relations and Diversity. Prior to that she was the director of the Reynolds & Reynold Foundations and Community Affairs. During her corporate career, Cathy has worked with over 10,000 local, state and national nonprofit partners, with a focus on creating innovative solutions for critical social issues.

In her role as a Del Mar Encore Fellow at Omega Community Development Corporation, she will be working with the Hope Zone Promise Neighborhood team on policy and partnerships. The Hope Zone is centered on creating measurable improved economic education and health outcomes for 3,400 historically underserved families in Northwest Dayton.
