African-American Community Foundation - Yokley-Gamblin Family Scholarship
The Yokley-Gamblin Scholarship was established in 2019 for the exclusive purpose of assisting underrepresented ethnic minority students, who are residents of Montgomery County, continue their educational pursuits. The Yokley and Gamblin families believe in the importance of education and providing opportunities to well-rounded students who are active in their school, church or community. This scholarship can be applied toward tuition at an accredited two- or four-year college/university or technical school.
Applicants must:
- be an African-American resident of Montgomery County, Ohio,
- demonstrate financial need,
- participation in school, church or community activities,
- provide proof of acceptance to an accredited technical school, junior college, community college or four-year college or university, and
- have a maximum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
