Sargent W. and Virginia H. Hunt Scholarship
The Sargent W. and Virginia H. Hunt Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide financial assistance to individuals from Montgomery County who wish to further their studies at an accredited college or university.
Applicants must:
- be a resident of Montgomery County at least six months prior to the date of application and be a graduate of a Montgomery County high school or GED certificate holder,
- be attending or plan to attend an accredited college or university,
- demonstrate merit through academic success with a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and
- demonstrate financial need.
Preference will be given to students majoring in Early Childhood Education.
