Larry Mullins Scholarship

Larry Mullins graduated from the physical therapy program at the University of North Dakota in 1975. Then moved to Dayton the same year and practiced PT for 30 years in private practice, outpatient and sports medicine clinics. Much of his time included clinical instruction and mentoring younger physical therapists. Volunteering has been a large part of his life as well. During the 1980s and 1990s, he worked with local HIV/AIDS organizations and in the 2000s became active in SICSA, a local animal shelter. His time at SICSA was focused on cat behavior and socialization programs as well as TNR community outreach programs. Health and welfare for people and animals has been a major part of his life. Education has been a key component in accomplishing his goals and established this scholarship fund to aid those interested in the healthcare fields.
