Oakwood Schools Foundation - Kevin Lauterbach Scholarship for the Arts
The Kevin Lauterbach Scholarship was established in 2000 by his mother, Patty Whisler, to honor the memory of this Oakwood High School class of 1986 graduate whose life was spent enjoying and pursuing his affection of the arts. The scholarship assists Oakwood High School graduating seniors who plan to be a life-learner/practitioner in the field of fine art.
Applicants must:
- be a graduating senior from Oakwood High School,
- be accepted to a four-year college or university,
- exhibit personal habits and character that are mindful and considerate of all others,
- demonstrate significant achievement in the field of fine art,
- be a significant contributor to the curricular activities in the art classroom and have contributed in significant ways to related art activities outside the art classroom, and
- embody the qualities of a life-learner/practitioner in the field of fine art.
