African-American Community Foundation - Hazel Carter Scott Scholarship
The Hazel Carter Scott Scholarship was established in 2006 to provide scholarships for graduating high school African-American students in Montgomery County planning to attend a four-year, post-secondary institution on a full-time basis. Hazel Carter Scott was a member of the National Association of University Women, Dayton Chapter 2006 which promotes education and equity for women and girls.
Applicants must:
- have a minimum 2.5 GPA,
- have a minimum 21 on the ACT or SAT equivalent, and
- demonstrate financial need.
