Kate Spencer

Kate Spencer joined the staff of The Dayton Foundation in 2022 as a donor services associate. In her current role as donor relations officer, she works closely with advisory committees of Dayton Foundation funds, including community foundations, education foundations and committee-advised funds. Kate coordinates services and administrative support, provides continuing education opportunities, and oversees fundraising events and activities for these fund groups.

Kate has a BA in art history from the University of Louisville and more than 12 years of experience working for nonprofit organizations in Dayton, Ohio, and Louisville, Kentucky. She has held development and membership management roles in a variety of organizations in the social services sector and in the arts. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, knitting, hiking and spending time with her daughter.
