Lucy Baker

Lucy Baker joined The Dayton Foundation staff in 2017 as a donor services associate. In her current role, she works closely with advisory committees to Dayton Foundation funds, including community foundations, education foundations and committee-advised funds. Lucy coordinates services and administrative support, provides continuing education opportunities, and oversees fundraising events and activities for these fund groups.

Lucy came to the Foundation following a 30-year career in the newspaper industry, having worked as a copy editor for the Dayton Daily News and three daily newspapers in West Virginia. She has a BS in communications from West Liberty University, and she volunteers as a social media and marketing specialist for several community groups. Lucy also has served on the boards of a number of local nonprofits, including the Oakwood Schools Foundation, CARE Walk and Oakwood Sister City Association.
