Soteria Brown

Soteria Brown joined The Dayton Foundation staff in 2013 as the public relations officer and was promoted to senior public relations officer in 2022. In this role, Soteria manages the Foundation’s media relations, website and social media. She also has a background in videography and is responsible for creating all of the Foundation’s videos. Soteria serves as the marketing liaison for the African-American Community Fund, where she coordinates marketing and assists the board with its annual report.

Soteria’s career includes 13 years in not-for-profit public relations and digital media. Soteria has a BA in communications from Grambling State University and a MA in communications from the University of Dayton.
