Valley View Schools - Steven R. and Heather M. Anderson Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2016 in memory of Stephen R. Anderson and, his daughter, Heather M. Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a beloved teacher, administrator and coach at Valley View School District for 38 years, spending nine years of his career as principal at Valley View High School from 2002 to 2011. His daughter, Heather M. Anderson, was a 1996 Valley View High School graduate, a student athlete, member of the National Honor Society, loyal friend and a dedicated member of Project Charlie. This annual scholarship provides financial support to further the education of a student graduating from Valley View High School who reflects the values of the Andersons.

Applicants must:

• be a graduating senior of Valley View High School,
• demonstrate the ability to succeed academically,
• be accepted to attend a two- or four-year accredited college or university,
• be actively involved in school and/or community activities,
• reflect the Anderson’s strong values of leadership, character and honesty, and
• demonstrate good attendance.
